The Mercy by Beverly Lewis

The Mercy by Beverly Lewis

I was given a copy of this book from Bethany House Publishers in exchange for this review.

The Mercy is the 3rd novel in  The Rose Trilogy, I had not read the first two so I was a little worried I may be lost or confused but Lewis did a great job of picking up and not leaving newbies behind . In "The Mercy" we follow two Amish sisters Hannah (Hen) and Rose and their struggles with love and faith. They each have to figure out if they can sacrifice their faith for love. Hen is in a marriage with and Englisher and it was on its way downhill till her husband is tempary blind due to an accident and she takes him in and cares for him with their young daughter. Could this accident be the light at the end of the tunnel or a start of a new chapter. Then there is Rose who is in love with the rebel Amish that has left town, will she settle for what she knows is right or follow her heart ? You'll have to pick up the book and dig in to find out.

I enjoyed this book and cant wait to see what happens to next. As with most books in this genre it was a tad predictable but I still enjoyed it just the same

The Wonder of Your Love By Beth Wiseman

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze®.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review.

This is the 2nd book in "A Land of Canann" series. This story is of a widow Katie Ann who is also a new mother. Her husband had left her before his death for another woman. So not only is she morning her husband she is also morning the loose of their relationship and the hurt of lies and loose of trust. Katie Ann is convinced that she will never marry again nor will she be able to trust a man again...And then a widower Eli comes in the picture....

I really enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down. The life of the  Amish always draws me in. If only the rest of the world could see how simple life can be if you just try and see the beauty in everything . Cant wait till the 3rd book in this series and see what the land of Canann is up to now

Go Big ( make Your Shot Count in the Connected World)

I was given an early copy of this book in exchange for a review.

Go Big is an inspirational book to help the youth of America dream BIG and make those dreams a reality. Its full of true stories and helpful hints as to how one may be able to make dreams come true. My favorite "go big" tip was  "No matter how hard it gets, you are never done until you actually quit" How absolutely true is that. I hope this book is a big seller, it would make for a great graduation present for those who aren't sure what or how to make their dreams come true....but all you must remember is to go BIG

Cherished By Kim Cash Tate

The publisher has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book or advanced reading copy

Cherished was a novel about forgiveness and how sometimes it can happen overnight and sometimes it may take years to be in the place where you are able to forgive the ones that once did you wrong.

Kelli a recent college graduate is the main character in the story and she is trying to find her place in the world and ends up back in her hometown where of course she runs into her...you guessed it ex boyfriend. They have major back drama and she isn't sure she will ever be able to forgive him for the wrongs that he had done to her. But he is determined to rebuild their friendship which of course is hard to do without her forgiveness...will they be able to work it out or not.. Only opening of the book will tell you for sure.
